Bryn Russell

Bryn is currently working on a Rolls-Royce sponsored project on Automated  thermal paint imaging and analysis techniques.

Rolls-Royce are world leaders in the development, application and interpretation of irreversible colour change paints to measure gas turbine component temperature distributions up to 1400°C.  This project will develop methods to automate the detection process of thermal paint   indications.

Bryn is supervised by Patricia Scully and Professor Nick Goddard.

Bryn completed a 4 year MPhys in Physics with Photonics from the University of Manchester, graduating in 2011.
